As an Up with People alumnus/a, you offer future Up with People students an invaluable perspective based on your own experience. Not only are we grateful for all of the support you provide as host families and volunteers in your home cities, but you are also crucial to identifying potential students, sponsors, and donors for the Up with People program.

Nearly 50% of our current students were recruited because of an alumni referral.  As an alumnus, you know our program best and can identify outstanding individuals who would not only benefit from the Up with People experience, but also will bring their motivation to give to others and broaden their global understanding.  This is what UWP is all about!

We encourage you to visit the section on this website entitled "Travel with UWP" to learn more about the current opportunities to tour with UWP and to explore the similarities and differences of the Up with People program of today.  Whether someone chooses to travel in January or July and whether they opt for a one-semester experience or a full-year, we have options to fit anyone's schedule and budget.  Please contact Rob Prytherch, Manager of Applicant Services for further program info or details on how you can get involved: rprytherch@upwithpeople.org

Financial contributions and gifts-in-kind are what allow Up with People to continue its purpose of "Bringing the World Together".  We are grateful for all gifts:  annual giving, contributions to the UWP scholarship fund, donations of time and resources and inclusions in estate planning are essential to our success.
