Up with People was founded on the principle of using music as a means to communicate with and inspire people. In each city we visit, Up with People cast members perform a vibrant and inspiring musical stage show that brings the community together to enjoy a night of entertainment while sparking people to take action in meeting the needs of their communities, countries and the world. **WEATHER UPDATE – FEBRUARY 3, 2012 – 9:00am MST**
Due to a severe snowstorm across the Denver-metro area, and in the best interest of all UWP students, host families and show attendees, we have decided to reschedule tonight’s performance. There will be NO show tonight, February 3. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday February 4, at 3:00pm. ALL tickets for tonight’s show will be honored at 3:00pm tomorrow. We understand that this may create problems for some attendees and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
The 2nd show of “A Song for the World” already scheduled for 7:30pm on Saturday, February 4 will continue as planned.

Host an UWP Student in Your Home
Host families are an important part of the Up with People student experience. During staging and orientation our students stay with local families who open their homes and their hearts for 4 weeks and give our participants an insider’s perspective on the community they’re visiting. In turn, host families gain the benefit of ‘bringing the world into their home’ and can learn from the students and often develop friendships that last well beyond our visit.
