Alumni make a HUGE impact on cast enrollment every semester. Nearly 50% of our current students are traveling with UWP today because of a direct alumni referral. Because you know the UWP program best, you have the unique ability to identify outstanding young leaders who would not only benefit from the UWP global program, but would also bring great value to the program. You can share your personal experience and communicate the value of UWP better than any website or brochure!

You also have another unique gift to offer: The Golden Passport Scholarship. The GP award is a $1000 USD scholarship which UWP will give, on your behalf, to any accepted student whom you personally recruit and recommend to travel in UWP.

It’s that easy! It’s like a financial “jump start” and its only available to YOU as a member of our international alumni network to give to the candidate(s) of your choice! You can award multiple Golden Passports per program or year, but each individual applicant can only receive one Golden Passport award.

Future students who are awarded the Golden Passport Scholarship are also eligible to receive additional scholarships, upon completion of the required application.

 

How To Refer and Give Your GP Award

When you do find a great candidate for the program, share your experience and how your time traveling abroad with UWP has shaped who you are today. Then, for more information – direct them to this website, to our cast blog and to the UWP Facebook page where they can get a real feel for the day-to-day happenings on tour right now.

Encourage your student to get started with the online application TODAY! Applicants can choose to travel with us for one or two semesters.
