UWPIAA and Reunion Events
The Up with People International Alumni Association (UWPIAA)
Each and every one of our more than 21,000 alumni worldwide belong to the UWPIAA. This organization was established exclusively for the purpose of supporting, informing and facilitating communication between and with Up with People alumni around the world. The UWPIAA and Up with People are separate, independent organizations but we work together for the benefit of all UWP alumni. The UWPIAA is a huge supporter of our existing student programs and each year they raise money for, and award, several student scholarships.
Alumni Scholarships
UWPIAA is committed to doing its part to develop global citizens and emerging leaders by giving young people the opportunity to travel abroad with Up with People. There are scholarships available for relatives of Up with People Alumni who are accepted to travel in the UWP international program. Click here for more information.

Reunion Events
Each year, typically in July or August, the UWPIAA hosts the annual UWP Reunion. The 2011 reunion was held in Tucson, Arizona – the home of Up with People’s World Headquarters from 1968 until 1993. It was a great success with a strong turnout from alumni celebrating their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 year reunions! ALL alumni are invited and welcome to attend any reunion event.
